Michelle Lockwood

Michelle is excited to return to CDS for her 18th year! She earned a BS in Biology from UNC-Wilmington and her teaching credentials through the University of Colorado at Boulder. Before arriving at CDS, Michelle worked as a field biologist, a naturalist, an environmental educator, and was a classroom teacher at other schools in Colorado and Virginia. She enjoys sharing her love and passion for the natural world with her students and empowering them to be young citizen scientists. When Michelle is not in the classroom, you can find her staying active and enjoying time with her family and friends.
