Valerie Kerin

Valerie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education and a minor in Disability Studies from the University of Delaware. Throughout her studies, Valerie engaged in learning with students in first through fifth grade as a classroom teacher and as an advanced academics teacher. After graduating in 2020, she spent two years as a fourth grade math and history teacher. Recently she received training from Michigan State University in Middle School Connected Math. At CDS, Valerie works with a variety of students in both English and Math. She is passionate about helping each student find the joy in education and discover their strengths! Valerie is excited to continue to share her love of learning and growing with her middle school students!
