Coro Cope

This is Coro’s tenth year working at CDS. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education. While she was a student, she was named Outstanding Student in the Elementary Education Program, and served as the student representative to the Curry Foundation Board working to fund raise and increase student involvement within the school. Coro has spent the last nine years at CDS teaching First and Second grade, and is excited to take on this new role here! As Director of Teaching, Learning and Collaboration, she will be working to further connect the different classrooms in new ways as well as teaming with and supporting teachers to enhance the student experience. Coro will also be serving as the point of contact for parents as they navigate the journey of early childhood education. Her daughter Everly will be a First Grader next year!
