Coro Cope

Coro has been with CDS since she graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Masters of Teaching in Elementary Education. While she was a student, she was named Outstanding Student in the Elementary Education Program, and served as the student representative to the Curry Foundation Board working to fundraise and increase student involvement within the school. Coro spent nine years at CDS teaching First and Second grade, and is helping students transition to middle school as the 5th Grade Homeroom teacher. As Director of Teaching, Learning and Collaboration, she works to connect different classrooms, team with and support teachers to enhance the student experience, and serve as the point of contact for parents as they navigate their children’s educational journeys. Coro’s daughter Everly is part of the CDS family as well.
