Clare Brown

In 2013, after graduating from the Curry School at UVA with a Masters of Education, Clare began teaching Middle School Humanities at CDS. Since then, she and Jaime Hawkins built the English program we have today. She loves exposing kids to a wide range of literature, particularly the classics, as well as teaching academic writing and leading homeroom each year. Outside of teaching, Clare loves cooking, reading and writing, and spending time with her friends and family, including her son Henry, who is in preschool at CDS!
