This is Tiffany’s fourth year at CDS, although she has felt connected to CDS for many years. Currently, Tiffany teaches fifth and sixth grade math along with Geometry. In addition, she collaborates with all the staff at CDS to develop curricula that fosters high level tasks with accessible entry points for all learners. Tiffany’s expertise is in making connections to mathematics an attainable way, and as a byproduct she creates an appreciation for math in all students. Before her time as a classroom teacher at CDS, she tutored students, worked with teachers, and taught math summer camps. Tiffany graduated from Millersville University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in Education and an endorsement in Secondary Mathematics. She earned her Masters degree in Education from the University of Virginia, with an endorsement as a Math Specialist. She has taught both high school and middle school math and has worked as a math specialist. Tiffany is ‘Nanu,’ to Everly, a current Kodiak bear.
