Courtney Prince

Courtney Prince and her two daughters, Mallory and Bridget, joined the CDS family in 2023. Courtney started as a substitute, then joined the staff full time as a 2nd grade assistant, and this year will step into the Polar Bear classroom. Not new to teaching, Courtney has taught in public and private schools at the elementary level and mentored student teachers at the undergraduate level. She earned her Bachelor’s at James Madison University, and her Master’s in Social Foundations of Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. Courtney spends her free time reading and traveling with her family. It’s also not uncommon to see her dog Norman trading “paw” for treats outside the Cubbies’ classroom!
